Welcome! You probably know latest new about Warhammer Online - EA Mythic will release this game around may-june 2008, and its not 100% sure information. This not only bad news, game for now, its poor and to much similar to World of Warcraft. Warhammer producers have problem - what they will add to create possibly different game to wow but in the other hand something enough similar to love like good ol mmo game?
As you may already know, EA Mythic Ent. was unhappy to admit - game isn't ready and we must move away premier of Warhammer Online : Age of Reckoning. What's wrong?there are many opinion that EA and Mythic himself isn't happy about facts that Warhammer Online is still not enough revolutionary and fresh to take place of World of Warcraft. They're working right now looking for new ideas to his game, because if they don't surprise players, in little dusty, genre of MMO games - they perish. Of course there some problems - items are soul bound when you are picking it up ( Wow ) and this is something very bad - this move is to low power of gold in Warcraft. In Warhammer what kind of moves game creators will make to low power of money?
Warhammer is one of the most popular - or maybe nr 1 - from all wargames. In USA very popular is Warhammer 40.000 and in old Europe - classic Warhammer. You need first of all miniatures to play this game + dices + rulebooks and that it .. + of course space to play. I must add one thing, every miniature - model should be painted before play - but view is astonishing!! Whole army for the example 200 model - on the battlefield, all in regiments + cannons or siege machines - its really great fun. When you finish all you can play. Now every model have its own specification and sometimes special rule. For special single model - heroes or champions, you can add magic items - weapon armor etc.
